The third garlic that the farm will be selling is Chesnok Red, also called Shvelisi garlic. Shvelisi garlic originated in the small village of Shvelisi in the southern part of Georgia, formally the Republic of Georgia.

In researching the culture of the country of Georgia, I read that guests and visitors are warmly welcome with food and drink. Like the people of Georgia, Chesnok garlic is warm and inviting. This medium-long-lasting garlic flavor is great for dressing and oils. When roasted it has a sweet mellow taste.

Georgian have a simple garlic sauce called Niortskali. Nortskali can be made with a chicken or beef stock and used as a marinade, cooking sauce, or dipping sauce.

One of the more popular chicken recipes is Shkmeruli. it is a simple and easy dish to make. Shkmeruli is chicken cooked in a milk garlic sauce
